My Gallery
A sampling of some of my art through the years
From the artist,
I have some small regret that I did not hang on to more of my artwork over the years. Or, at least, had the foresight to capture images of them before they were given away. Many of my early pictures were kept by my school teachers to adorn the walls of my elementary school. I wish now that I had made an effort to retrieve them. My old school building has since been torn down. I hope some of my pictures were removed beforehand and that somewhere, someone has a collection of original 'Atwoods.'
Although I took art classes at University, my career went in a different direction, and art became an infrequent hobby instead of a vocation. Now many years later, I feel compelled to return to my true path. Most of the art I have done in that span was as gifts for friends and family. My portfolio during this time consisted mainly of photos or photocopies of my work instead of the originals. I have taken a few commissions by word of mouth in the last few years. This experience has inspired me to finally open my own studio and transition to doing art full-time.
Thank you for visiting.
